@Eric_L_Roe To be honest even this generator is too small if everything hits at the same time but the 50amps gives a little more room and less management of what’s running. I also bought the Anker Solix 3800 which is also awesome but will talk about that more on our podcast.
@Eric_L_Roe 7600W 9000 peak with a 50 amp outlet pro power is 30 amp which is what made the difference. Also understand that I still need the battery to drive. If I do an event that is a bit of distance from me (which i will) I can’t run the trailer and get home.
@macheauto Pro Power can not run every piece of equipment I have. But it’s perfect at night when I don’t need everything on and I’m smoking brisket or pork butts all night.
@Eric_L_Roe Pro Power is awesome for overnight smokes because there is no noise and I need minimal equipment. However my food warmer alone is 2000 watts. By the time I fire up everything else it is too much power. So still need a generator for long days of service
This week we got to test an Brazo offset smoker from @MasonDixonBBQ1 . Before we fired it up @_KevinWheeler stopped by to give us some tips and tricks.

On this episode @RodSimmons and @bigChrisAshley talk about the challenges and setups of a large rib smoke. If you have a big event coming up maybe some of the thought process here will help you plan.
