it was very much a surprise.

a relentlessly miserable, lonely, draining year, for me. so many days this year were swallowed whole by self doubt and dark mental spirals. so much time lost. so little will to affect change.

despite this, i still hold out hope that things will change. i'm happier with my art than i've ever been, and i've challenged myself so much this year with personal projects. something's gotta turn, for sure.
