@AndyDavies Agree. To your 1st question, I think tools generally don't help people understand which metrics are important for them. As a result few ppl actually use perf monitoring tools to make their sites faster. Most only use them to alert when their site gets worse.
Curious, how many different monitoring tools are folks using on their sites today to get visibility into #webperf ? Was talking to someone recently about metrics fatigue.
