@MartinSLewis I was approved as eligible by the DWP in early November. Received a letter, called, all straightforward, told me inwas eligible and they'd tell @OVOEnergy . Still waiting. Imagine they'll leave it to the very last day 31st March just to make sure we suffer as long as possible.

@itvMLshow How much should lenders be trying to help vulnerable customers? I'm selling as can no longer afford my @TheWestBrom mortgage and can't afford my payments. Only help offered was reduced payments, creating arrears, affecting credit score. I'm a single parent soon to be homeless.

@MartinSLewis @itvMLshow @TheWestBrom Are they allowed to only offer me "help" that would actually be detrimental ie affect my credit score? Exact words "this is all we can offer you" when I said I was struggling to pay now.

@MartinSLewis @itvMLshow I've just asked @TheWestBrom to help me reduce my payments whilst house sells as I can no longer afford the new mortgage. Only option they offered was reduce payments, create arrears which then affects my credit rating. Their words. Single parent, low income, no help.
