Why You Should Keep a Trading Journal (English)
When I first started trading, every experienced trader I watched or spoke to kept saying the same thing "Keep a trading journal"
At the time, I couldn't understand the point of it. I kept thinking "How is this even going to help me"

25/08/2026 had long bias but saw the smt’s at 4H highs w/es . then looked for a short setup off of 15m FVG . entered after 1m ifvg got stopped out .

24/08/2026 Had a bearish bias . Before session open price tapped into 4H fvg and swept 1H highs . Then i was expecting price to manipulate 15M highs then go lower which it did . Couldnt enter the first move then waited for the 15M cont off of fvg . Got breakeven

20/08/2026 Had a bearish bias targeting 4H lows . At session open price retraced to 1H fvg . Then i waited for a 15M confirmation . Didnt get it so did not trade today .

17/08/2026 today i had a bullish bias since we wre in a bullish trend and tapped into NWOG then swept 15m sell side after 9.30 open . i entered off of 1m ifvg and stopped out -1rr for the day

07/08/2026 BE day on NQ . Price was bullish respecting the daily FVG . At open price manipulated lower (30M FVG ) i then looked for a potential entry . Price left a 3M fvg so i wanted price continue to go higher from that 3m . Entered on 1m ifvg got breakeven

6/08/2026 . had a bearish bias but at open both es and nq manipulated 1H lows then went higher to LRL . missed the initial entry at open then wanted a CONT trade off of 15m didn't get it so no trade day again

03/08/2026 today i had bullish bias cuz we had REH + LRL above and ES was bullish + nwog was tapped on nq . es swept 1H sell side nq didnt . after that smt i looked for a continuation trade there was non .
