@TFloodeen What a wonderful story! I come from a nearby area! I was baptized June 3, 1972 in Saratoga Ca, after the Institute of Religion was opened at West Valley College. Changed my life! By the time you were baptized I had been sealed in the Oakland Temple and had 2 small children.

But that was pre-internet, when darkness reigned and we still lived in caves. Sigh.

@TFloodeen I used to be a Methodist too and you described it exactly! Each individual church was different!

As a now long-time member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints it is good to know wherever I go, each church building I visit will be like I am home - because I am.
