I do not always get what I wanted at once.
I wrote O’level four times before I eventually had the coveted C6 in Physics

I wrote JAMB four times before I eventually made it & gained entry into the University, when I eventually got admitted into FUTA in 2012, some of my high school mates were already in their finals.

I started applying for Scholarships in 2017 & only got lucky four years after in 2021; I submitted about 24 applications to different countries & continents before Erasmus Mundus eventually fell on my knees.

I’ve submitted over 4,000 job applications in this Europe, got only about 20 interview invites & only 4 offer letters.

Most of you know me as a Supply chain crooner on this app, but little people knew that’s a career I started after age “30”

Resilience is something I’ll always preach, I’ve lived through it myself.

If you are engaged in immoral behaviour in private and no one knows about it, then that matter remains between you and Allah. But the moment you choose to publicize it, celebrate it, and boast about your exploits, you have voluntarily brought it into the court of public opinion.

When people criticize, condemn, or distance themselves from you because of what you openly promote, the blame does not lie with them. It lies with the person who discarded modesty and self-respect for attention, applause, or notoriety.

Every human being has flaws, weaknesses, and sins. The wise person seeks Allah's forgiveness and prays that his shortcomings remain concealed. The foolish person tears away the veil that Allah placed over him and then complains when people judge him by what he himself chose to reveal.

If Allah has hidden your faults from the eyes of others, thank Him for that blessing. Do not expose what He concealed. Do not trade dignity for attention or modesty for momentary fame.

Not every truth about your private life deserves a public audience.

Having people to remind you when you err, however wrong they do it, is rahma. By Allaah, the pain of shame, ridicule and insult in this world is infinitely smaller than the 0.01 sec under the wrath of Allaah. We are all strugglers at the end of the day but we should endeavor to do better at all times. Public sins are much worse than private sins, which are infinitely worse than heeding warnings, repenting when prompted and striving to stay away from sinning at all.
