Here is the true context of this story. Disgusting how they continue to spread lies.

U.S. Border Patrol agents arrived at Roosevelt High School in Minneapolis on January 8, 2026, after pursuing a vehicle during an immigration enforcement operation. According to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the chase involved a suspect (described in statements as a U.S. citizen who allegedly rammed a government vehicle, ran red lights, and drove dangerously) over about five miles, ending when the vehicle stopped or crashed outside the school during dismissal time.

The pursuit's target was the driver of that vehicle, who was detained on the ground near the school entrance. No sources indicate the agents were specifically there to arrest or target students, staff, or anyone inside the school itself—the location appears coincidental to the chase ending there.

The situation escalated when a crowd formed, objects (like snowballs) were thrown at agents, and chemical irritants (pepper spray/pepper balls) were deployed. Reports confirm two school staff members (one a U.S. citizen special education assistant) were briefly detained and later released, while bystanders and students were affected by the irritants. This led to Minneapolis Public Schools closing for the rest of the week out of safety concerns.
