I need a replacement for alcohol that lets me get fucked up in a pro-social way on a regular basis but which doesn’t tank my mental health. Do not say weed. I do not enjoy weed, unfortunately.
‘The Legend of Aang: The Last Airbender’ director Lauren Montgomery says the movie deserves to be released in theaters 🍿
“The recent decision to move us from theatrical to streaming might give the impression that the quality wasn’t sufficient, but that couldn’t be farther from the truth. This movie deserves to be seen on the big screen”
It's so weird seeing X get posted on Twitter—and wilder to see it get traction. Promise, Clamp fans haven't been gatekeeping. If anything we've been trying to spare y'all the pain we subject ourselves to every time we look up at our shelves and see that manga volume marked 18.5
Was playing bg3 with a friend and she dressed her character up in a fun very revealing dress and for some reason the first thought I had was "Bayonetta would be proud."
Live your life in a way that would make Bayonetta proud y'all.
Emma Stone tells W Magazine she is not playing Miss Piggy in the upcoming movie she is producing with Jennifer Lawrence:
“First of all, that is the biggest insult to Miss Piggy I’ve ever heard, and I will not have her name dragged through the mud like that. Why would I play a literal star? She’s the greatest. No, of course I’m not playing Miss Piggy. And neither is Jen. We pale in comparison. Are you out of your mind? Miss Piggy is playing Miss Piggy. She would be storming out right now at the mere suggestion.”

People are gonna "bury your gays is Always Bad" themselves out of a ton of significant queer films. The Children's Hour buries its gay. It was also one of the first US films to be sympathetic to a gay character. Then there are the films of the AIDS era. Context matters.
But I mean let's not get it twisted, this is exactly why Disney did it this way. Disney gets to have its cake and eat it too without ever alienating either audience, just by writing the show in a way that welcomes both queer readings AND queerphobes.
This is really sweet but as a depressive I can't help wondering what it would be like to just feel something so quickly and easily. Like they just smile? Just like that?? People just walk around in the world and smile, that shit is amazing
Slop is the perfect word for what genAI shoves out. Pieces of better meals, bits of once-good craft, combined into a textureless mess and shoved in front of pigs on a farm. When you see CEOs try to push it on you, know exactly what they're doing and how they're treating you.
THANK you Austen is hilarious and full of potent satire. And it's hilarious that the dumbass trying to invalidate Austen for being a woman was the exact thing she satirized and countered with her work: a world where women's thoughts and feelings are invalid.
Jane Austen did so much for the form of the novel sure sure but also the idea that her books are somehow like “lady-fluff” and not incredibly funny satire is so avoidable if you’ve been a literate English speaking adult
I fear the weight of David Corenswet's comment is being lost while we (fairly) take the piss. The man is a rising star! And the most normal thing in the world to ask about? Maintaining the image of masculinity. He's superman, and he can't shake the fear of Looking Feminine.
Gay Twitter has fried my brain because I see this and thought it was a thirsty kinda zoom. Like I just saw this and went "yeah you right, that little oblique curve is hot." I genuinely didn't realize they're trying to body shame by acting like this is fat.
