If you are planning to vote No on Saturday but at least open to listening to a counter argument, I implore you to read this excellent piece today by Nikki Savva. #Yes23
The NO talks about how this referendum is about Division but no one in their camp have any runs on the board for trying to Unify the country. None of them have any history of bringing us together. VOTE YES.
Far Enough?
Remember when you wanted to find the best coffee within walking distance of where you’re at and you googled it? You can apply the same tactic to so many other aspects in life! @nashedgerton@jennaown@VZerbst@bluetonguefilms VOTE YES

@DavidPocock I don’t understand why nursing and midwifery students aren’t paid like apprentices when on placement. Good for students & patient safety.
The shallow man leading the Nasty Party. Scathing editorial in @SatPaper. But, please note, @PeterDutton_MP’s NO to constitutional Voice was endorsed by an overwhelming majority of the federal parliamentary Liberal Party. https://t.co/VJjzXqbM2D via @SatPaper
This is the Uluṟu Statement from the Heart.
Look at the names of the 250 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander ppl who reached a national consensus, proposing a constitutionally enshrined Voice.
Dutton and the Liberal Party are being dishonest. It will not be a Canberra Voice.
This is a heartbreaking lack of leadership. Inexcusable to call it a "divisive Canberra Voice" - the Uluru Statement from the Heart (that put forward the Voice to Parliament) is the result of years of consultation by First Nations people with Firsts Nations people right across the country.
Four days after losing Aston which drew criticism that they’re out of touch with modern Australia the Liberals say no to a voice. Newspoll tells us that yes is the favoured option in every state. Only men over 60 disagree.
Forget leadership. Reactionary politics by trope. Drain the swamp. Canberra bubble. “The PM’s divisive Canberra Voice”. Dutton’s party wants you to be fearful of change. What the people actually affected are scared of is things staying the same.
My message to the youth of today:
Do not take up careers with the climate wreckers.
I urge you to be the generation that succeeds in addressing the planetary emergency of climate change.
Almost a decade ago, I reported @JuliaGillard’s misogyny speech live. Here’s what I’ve learned in the ensuing years. Thanks to @lucykateclark for this edit of a longer book chapter https://t.co/0LS9jXBbmm

This story is horrifying. The things that are excused in this country for the sake of private school kids kicking a ball against other private school kids who live in the next suburb over https://t.co/T2qv8dMdET
