MAWS is an intentful refresh of the character and his mythology for Gen Z/younger audiences…and it cribs way more from the Triangle Era than STAS ever did.

Rough around the edges, production-wise? Yes.

But underneath the fits and starts lies something soulful, ambitious and genuinely idiosyncratic.

A great introduction to a fantasy world I can't wait to see more of.

PROJECT A-KO (1986, dubbed 1992)

Peak 80's anime eye-candy. The story is not particularly deep, but it's not meant to be.

Unapologetic, beautifully-animated excess, executed at a high level.

The early 90's dub is surprisingly solid!

Their deal with Oni Press essentially offloads production and publication of most of their new books.
