Here is an essay I wrote The Gift of Negatives and Positives https://t.co/MoOWsvkQQc about restoring photographic negatives made 75 years ago on Fanad Head in County Donegal, Ireland and the stories they tell today
@JoyceCarolOates Guns of August by Barbara Tuchman. Puts a lot of blame on German militarism vis a vis France. It was supposed to be a quick war. Lots of allies & rivalries got sucked in, and it wasn’t.
@henrywinter Agreed with the ref on this one! Yes, contact- but he was looking for it and made a meal of it. The swan arch fall didn’t help him either.
@FischerKing64 Perhaps there is something going on in your conscious world where you are being treated poorly or potentially ripped off. The dream could symbolize that or compensate for it unconsciously.
@wilsonhlthcoach To be fair there was a lot of back and forth between Scotland and the north of Ireland over the years! Scottish Gaelic language came from Ireland. They seem like separate places from today’s perspective. But Scotland is lovely to visit for sure.
@Robert_E_Kelly A true classic. So nice to see everyone looking so well. Thanks to your family for handling an amazing moment with such grace over the years.
@OdohertyI64991 Might be a bit of shadow projection going on. Ireland seems passive recently so when it sees Israel acting aggressively, the harsh reaction perhaps an unconscious recognition of its own suppressed qualities. Easier to criticize others than look within oneself.
