#BREAKING: 15 of the 47 defendents were granted bail. Yet, they were back to remand as the Secretary of Justice immediately applied for appeal against the bail decision. They will go to High Court within 48 hours.
This is simply to torture the 47 defendants, including their family members and friends who have been waiting outside the court throughout the week.
Totally unnessary and inhumane.
A note to remind you all that the person cruelly attempting to overturn the bail of 47 innocent human #HongKong democracy organisers is Teresa Cheng who holds a fellowship at @KingsCollegeLon@shitijkapur this person deserves no honour at your university.
Legal source: a lawyer assisting in the case of 47 #HongKong pro-democracy activists has been taken away/arrested outside West Kowloon Court Building, where a hearing for bail applications for those charged is still taking place

The 47 democrats are not even elected.
So the govt is charging them, who are unable to commit a "constitutionally legal" subversive act, subversion.
CONFUSED.
