UPDATE: The gambling tycoon in talks to buy a large stake in Bristol City has been revealed as Betano owner George Daskalakis.
The Greek co-founder of Kaizen Gaming is in advanced negotiations with the club’s owner Steve Lansdown over acquiring a minority stake in the club.
On Monday, @SkySportsNews exclusively revealed that an unnamed gambling industry figure was in talks to buy a stake in Bristol City.
It’s understood any potential deal could see a huge investment in the Championship club.
