By the way, @officialEFCC kindly update me on the status of " perpetual injunction" restraining the prosecution of Peter Odili. Has this been vacated yet?

A very valid point. Nothing about Nigeria is a quick fix except we want to move in circles. Beyond wilful emotional outbursts, there must always be context and nuance to every criticism of government actions or inactions otherwise such become shallow. commentary.

I have received reports of the private aircraft that conducted a missed approach at approximately 07:43 am local time this morning whilst attempting to land at the Asaba airport and ended up landing on a concrete road still under construction in the Ogwashi-Uku area, near Asaba. Happily, eye witnesses at the scene indicate that all occupants safely exited the aircraft and were transported to Asaba by road. The aircraft had four (4) crew members on board and there were no injuries to them.
I am also informed that the aircraft subsequently departed the location at approximately 11:02 GMT and returned to Lagos without obtaining the requisite regulatory approval. I also understand that Air Traffic Control was notified only after the aircraft had become airborne. In order words, the aircraft had no clearance to take off again.
We view this incident as a serious breach of Regulations and security and the following actions have been taken:
1. Upon its arrival in Lagos, the NCAA immediately grounded the aircraft pending the outcome of its investigation.
2. The NCAA has placed the flight under regulatory review while it conducts further
inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the occurrence and the subsequent unauthorized departure of the aircraft.
3. The NCAA is coordinating with relevant aviation stakeholders, including the operator and the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
4. The NCAA has suspended the operator's permit for Non-Commercial flight (PNCF).
The NCAA will also review all operational, airworthiness, maintenance, and flight-related records as part of its statutory responsibilities and will take further enforcement action in accordance
with applicable aviation regulations.
5. I have also spoken to relevant security agencies and I have been assured that the crew are in their custody and they are assisting them with their investigation.
Around 1:30am in Ogun State, a luxury bus without a registration number was intercepted by Customs officers after passing multiple checkpoints.
Inside the vehicle, they reportedly discovered:
-197 camouflage uniforms
-32 pieces of mixed military inner wear (unauthorized)
-154 parcels of “Canadian loud”
-7 parcels of “Colorado”
The total value of the seized items is estimated at about ₦254 million 😳

FCT POLICE ARREST BANDITS SPOTTED BRANDISHING WEAPONS IN VIRAL VIDEO
The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has arrested three kidnappers who appeared in a viral video openly brandishing AK-47 rifles, ammunition, and walkie-talkies while dressed in military camouflage. The kidnappers are identified as Umar Babangida (25), Adamu Yeti (22), and Yahaya Idris (24), are all residents of Rijana, Kaduna State.
Confirming the development to journalists, the Commissioner of Police, FCT Command, CP Ahmed Sanusi, disclosed that he immediately ordered a forensic analysis to determine the origin of the footage and directed a manhunt for the suspects as soon as the video surfaced.
According to the Commissioner, digital forensic tracking and actionable intelligence led operatives to the suspects’ hideout. Acting on the intelligence, police operatives carried out a coordinated dawn raid at Runji Village in Zuba on May 25 at about 3:22 a.m., leading to the successful arrest of the suspects.
You can’t keep doing the same things and expecting different results, state police will be the difference maker for states who will take the security of their people seriously, not giving them that power at all is where the problem lies
Purveyor of Fake News Arrested 📌
Another Nigerian who made a worrying fake news post about Abuja’s security and caused fear among citizens has been arrested by the Police. This arrest sends a clear message that reckless social media users won’t be spared.
He was known as "Manti" to some, a nightmare to many communities, and now, to the VCRU, he is under arrest.
For an extended period, Umar Abubakar, also known as "Manti," led a kidnapping syndicate that targeted Okuta, Ilesha-Baruba, Tabida, Taberu, and nearby communities in Kwara North.
Families lived in fear, and communities remained cautious while "Manti" operated with apparent impunity. The Kwara State VCRU ultimately apprehended him.
On 1st June 2026, operatives attached to Okuta Divisional Headquarters conducted a routine raid in the Tabida area, Baruten LGA. Suspicious persons were apprehended and transferred to the VCRU for detailed profiling.
Intelligence efforts identified the gang leader, and subsequent operations resulted in his arrest. Two AK-47 rifles with fully loaded magazines were recovered.
These weapons, previously used to threaten communities, are now secured and permanently removed from criminal possession.
"Manti" and his associates are in custody and are providing information that is helping investigators uncover more details about the network.
The Inspector General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc (+), NPM, established the VCRU as a specialized unit to identify, pursue, and dismantle the most dangerous criminal networks in Nigeria. Today, in Kwara North, the unit fulfilled this mandate.
For the communities affected by this syndicate, "Manti" is now in custody and the threat has ended.

As a member of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) and a follower of Pastor Enoch Adeboye, I have observed over the last few years how some ignorant but demonic and devious political actors have continually pounced on RCCG and our Pastor because they didn’t endorse a certain candidate who was so desperate to become President in 2023.
They are filled with hatred for the Church but continue to shout “church, take back your country.”
We can forgive because we are children of God but we will continue to push back against all the politically orchestrated lies and fake propaganda.
PS: We can’t be intimidated by desperate thugs and children of Satan because we are rooted in Christ Jesus our Lord and Personal Saviour.
The bandit attack in Ogbomoso on May 15th was a terrible tragedy, but we cannot let grief make us gullible.
People are sharing a horrific video of a child tied to a stone, claiming it shows one of the abducted students.
But look closely at the image I posted. This exact fb post was already online on April 19th… weeks before the Ogbomoso attack even happened.
Back then, people claimed it was a stepmother torturing her child. Now, engagement-chasers are recycling it to fit a narrative about bandits.
An old video cannot magically change its backstory just because a new tragedy is trending.
The situation in Ogbomoso is real, and the victims deserve justice. But sharing old, unrelated videos for clicks and fake outrage doesn't help anyone.
Let’s stop arguing blindly, verify before you share, and use your heads. Misinformation thrives on pains.
LOOOL .. The politicians embrace themselves when they meet, they attend each other’s private events, they meet outside and joke with each other. ADC Chairman’s daughter got Reps ticket under APC and so many examples. People are doing business with each other without asking or knowing each other’s political choice.
