As Buffalo GM Brandon Beane was answering a question about Keon Coleman and the Bills wide receivers, Terry Pegula said: “Can I interrupt? I’ll address the Keon situation. The coaching staff pushed to draft Keon.”
Shout out to two of our Cowgirl Cross Country runners, Senior Jayslin Gabel, who placed 6th, and Junior Emily Stargill, who placed 10th at the Oberlin meet on Tuesday. Way to represent!
High praise for KSU ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ TE commit Linkon Cure of Goodland HS (6’6” 220 Sr.) who had nine receptions for 225 yards and four touchdowns Friday against Burlington (CO). #sportsinkansas
The rivalry is real, not only within the state but for the Cure family 😎
KU tight end Leyton Cure enters his first season with the Jayhawks after transferring in from Fort Hays State.
His younger brother Linkon, a senior at Goodland HS, recently committed to Kansas State.
"I told them I'm going to have to be a Jayhawk for a couple of years if that's alright...they still love me."
BREAKING: KU has landed a commitment from tight end Leyton Cure (@leytoncure).
KU TE coach Jeff Grimes loved what he saw on film and targeted him once Cure entered the portal. #kufball

Linkon Cure of Goodland with the slam. The 6’6” 220 junior is likely the top three sport athlete in Kansas. He’s also ranked as one of the top recruits in the country in football at TE, being ranked the 35th overall at any position nationally for 2025. He’s also a state hurdle champion as a sophomore last May. See Cure and his Goodland Cowboy team on display at this years 3A state tournament. #sportsinkansas
