@TheBlueFrontier It's so disappointing. I felt we deserved at least a point. Beto's hold-up play and physicality were desperately missed once he had to come off, which left us with limited options going forward at the end of the match. Proud of the team and the fight, despite the result.

@TheBlueFrontier The changes at halftime had a positive impact, but the penalty felt like the true turning point. Really happy that Alcaraz got some extended time today, as I feel like his ability to push forward is needed in the squad to get the most out of the other attacking players.

@TheBlueFrontier Happy to get a point. It wasn't a spectacular performance, but sitting on 35 points gives us the ability over the rest of the season to get more minutes for players who need them or where decisions need to be made (Chermiti, Alcaraz, Broja, Lindstrom, Patterson, and Iroegbunam)

@TheBlueFrontier Prett unlucky for Beto not to score from one of three breakaway chances, but it is another solid result despite the team having very limited options. There should be better results ahead as we get some players returning to full fitness.

@TheBlueFrontier Great first half, but the team seemed to run out of energy and ultimately couldn't overcome both the poor refereeing and tiring legs. I would have been happy with a point before kickoff, but giving up the lead and the ridiculous VAR overturn of the penalty had left me gutted.

@TheBlueFrontier That sure seemed like a lot of effort and SPIRIT to me. I'm proud of the team for playing so hard today in what could easily have been a let down game after the high of the derby finish.

@TheBlueFrontier To me, this match was all about Moyes' ability to set the team up to play to their strengths. You could pick from several, but today's two biggest examples were Garner's passing/set piece delivery and Beto's ability to finish when the ball is played to his feet. Up the Toffees!

@TheBlueFrontier It was not spectacular, but at least it was comfortable, and we are through to the next round. Significant improvement is required, but the new manager should be in place before our next match, which can also help inform our January business.

@TheBlueFrontier It was more of the same, really. There is absolutely nothing happening offensively. I think that we would all love to see a change of shape and/or approach, but that seems to be impossible under Dyche.

@USAToffeePod Extremely frustrating result, even if it was not that surprising. The team wasn't set up to win one of the easiest matches we will have all season. Disappointed that our best defender didn't start and that our most creative player is not played in his most effective position.

@USAToffeePod At least we took a point, but it feels like points dropped from the last 3 league matches. The midfield was much better with Mangala and Doucoure, and Branthwaite cannot return soon enough. I'm still unsure why Ndiaye is consistently subbed off.
