British Airways Extension-Gate chaos and outrage among The Club members continue.

Some members have been told that this is a glitch that will be reversed, while others have been told that this was done on a case-by-case basis.

Members with little or no activity have been renewed, while those with significant flight activity but who fell short have not.

The dirty words here are "Net Benefit Usage".

BA has extended those who don't need or use the benefits, while allowing loyalty management to hit target numbers and collect bonuses (by faking the elite and engagement figures).

@SPD_travels Flew MAN–DUB–ORD earlier this month. Couldn’t have been more than a 50% load factor. The pre-clearance in Dublin is a huge win though; makes the extra stop totally worthwhile. Sure, nonstop would be ideal, but this isn’t a bad compromise at all 😛🙃
