In less than 2 weeks I will shut the doors to my lab for the last time and start an entirely new career. I am very thankful for my time at Virginia Tech and @vtbiochem where I received great support and had amazing colleagues. Is it scary leaving a tenured position? 🧵
Thanks to Prof. Raivio @traivio for an awesome seminar today, tying together 30 years of work on #CpxA, from hand-drawn diagrams from the Silhavy era to AI-generated structural models! 🤩 NB to @CIHR_ICRH - some work doesn't fit into 5-year chunks, it takes as long as it takes.
Congratulations to Megan Ulbrich (@microDziejman Lab) and Andy Phan (Zhu Lab) on their fantastic talks at #BuffaloMPC2023! Megan was also awarded the Neter award for her presentation on VopX effector function in V. cholerae! Congrats to all! 🎉
Please join us for Jim Bina's CCNY seminar on cholera biology at 1:00 PM EST. I have heard him speak before. Great speaker and scientist! You better tune in.
