@YardsPerPass Agreed when looking at the life of it. But this move is clearly somewhat of a pushing the chips in move. They’ll do the cap conversion and make this year much more manageable in the short term
@bo__gills@JeremyWGR He thought they were getting DJ Moore for a pick swap lol and is questioning other people’s knowledge of the league. Just unbelievable arrogance
@MOOK_XC@Schopptalk I just have a hard time believing it. I’ve never met someone who buys tickets to a game months in advance. Maybe I’m wrong, but definitely not enough to fill half the stadium
@LLysowski Young, offensive minded head coach with track record of success AND known for being forward-thinking. If Brady wasn’t here previously, Bills fans would be thrilled with this hire
@Cover1 On its face it’s uninspiring but if you said you were getting a coach who learned how to build culture from McD (his best asset) + a forward thinking, young offensive mind…this is exactly what everyone would be happy with. It’s just bc he’s been here there’s a negative reaction
@YardsPerPass@fuzzydabear Reminder he was fired in Carolina for throwing the ball TOO much. Still think we could see this thing swing back to pass first quickly
@CALJr1998@Cover1 Which can still be true and will remain true. That’s one of the main reasons they have been consistently good. But they haven’t broke through. Great businesses/organizations take risks and make hard decisions. The easy way out was to run it back.
@Cover1@CALJr1998 The same people who were citing Tyler Dunne’s piece as reasons to fire McDermott are now calling his firing knee-jerk and ignoring the emotional part now…which Tyler made clear was very real
@MRCardKing@DanGrazianoESPN It’s not even close to what he explained either lol he said the emotional toll the team took from that loss and the others made him believe they needed a change. Which is honestly an impressive reply from a team owner. The twisting of words is pretty pathetic from an “insider”
@Cover1@CALJr1998 Im finding the overreaction to the pressure hilarious. If you went in wanting to leave mad, you nitpick your way there. If you listened to what they said- I’m impressed. Firing McD bc of the emotional toll is way more in tune with the team than I ever expected Terry to be
@Cover1 100%. Also I know the temp is hot on Beane, but if everyone (not you) is assuming he leaked the report yesterday about roster talent, you need to consider this the same type of “leak” from McD’s side. Again not to say McD is wrong..just being fair about how this is all coming out
