When will we see real action instead of repeated condemnation?

Extremists are not stronger they are emboldened by a government that has failed, time and again, to confront them and continues with a policy of appeasement.

The Iranian regime has long been a driver of global antisemitism and terror, yet the UK still refuses to proscribe the IRGC.
This failure sends a dangerous message: violence, intimidation, and hate will be tolerated.
Today it is the Jewish community. If this is not stopped, tomorrow it will be everyone else.

Social media is not a safe for children. Extreme content is rife, and the safeguards the companies have put in place are complex and woefully ineffective.

It’s time to make sure children are protected from adult spaces. The Government should focus on what matters, not banning companies they don’t like.

Over 12,000 Iranians have been massacred by the brutal regime of the Islamic Republic just in the last few days. The same regime that supported Hamas and funded their terroist activities while they weaponised Palestinians. Images of body bags and mass graves are emerging despite internet blackouts. Yet you choose to weaponise their suffering to attack Trump and recycle regime talking points.

The Iranian people are not asking for lectures on sanctions. They are protesting for the regime that murders them to fall. Inside Iran, the people are under severe crackdown and are being killed with direct gunshots to the head and the heart. They are counting on President Trump to support them in their struggle, not appeasers in the West who excuse their oppressors.

And do not distort reality. The instability and bloodshed across the region, including Gaza, is driven by the regime of the Islamic Republic and its proxies, not by #Israel defending its right to exist. The regime funds terror, fuels wars, and crushes its own people. It exports a dangerous ideology that has unfortunately infected millions including yourself!

You say “only the Iranian people should decide their future”, yet you echo the exact narrative of the regime that is killing them.

History will be clear about who stood with the Iranian people, and who chose the comfort of ideological posturing over humanity.

Today marks two years since the barbaric and savage attack of October 7th.
In January 2024, my husband @Vahid_Beheshti and I visited the very site of the October 7th massacre in Israel an experience that will stay with me forever. Standing where so many innocent lives were taken, I was reminded that this was not just an act of terror, but part of a systematic campaign orchestrated and funded by the Iranian regime under Ali Khamenei the same regime that created and sustains groups like Hamas and Hezbollah, fuelling hatred and antisemitism across the region.
Today, we remember those who lost their lives, we stand with the survivors, and we call for the immediate release of all remaining hostages.

We must stand united with the victims, confront those who enable terror, and hold the Iranian regime accountable for its role in funding and exporting terrorism and
extremism.

The Government has identified the Iranian regime as a direct threat to Britain’s national security that must be treated as a priority. This is the right decision, following the report of Parliament’s Intelligence and Security Committee and the crucial landmark poll commissioned by the Iranian Front for the Revival of Law and National Sovereignty, conducted a few days ago by JL Partners. That poll showed that 72% of Labour voters believe the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) should be designated as a terrorist organisation, while more than 67% want Britain to cut ties with the Iranian regime altogether.

The next step, especially with @YvetteCooperMP now serving as Foreign Secretary, must be the formal designation of the IRGC as a terrorist organisation. My husband, @Vahid_Beheshti , has been holding a sit-in protest outside the Foreign Office for 927 days, demanding precisely this.

Proscribing the #IRGC is not only necessary, it is an urgent measure to safeguard the national security of this country.

In light of the current circumstances, Lord Polak addressed Lord Collins at the House of Lords, and asked him whether he will apologise to the people of Iran and to @Vahid_Beheshti who has camped outside of the Foreign Office for over two years, for the Government’s continued failure to proscribe the #IRGC?

It is absolutely right to ask: which side is this Government on?
Is it on the side of the freedom loving, democratic nation of #Israel and the people of #Iran, who have suffered for decades under tyranny?
