As a casual NBA fan, this finals has been so much fun to watch!
As the husband of a lifelong, die hard, Spurs fan, this finals has been so stressful to watch
So I’m just going to throw this out there because it’s something we are all thinking but too scared to talk about…
Has Ted Cruz been going to the Spurs games during the finals?
@Daniel_031989@YourAnonNews@WhiteHouse Showing up to a chess game with a deck of UNO cards instead of chess pieces doesn’t make you a strategic genius, it makes you an idiot on a historic level
@MacGraeme42@stevenstrogatz If you’re at the point where you are ok with them trying to redefine natural mathematical principles in order to keep from admitting a small mistake then there’s no help for you at the moment. Perhaps one day, but not yet. When that day comes look me up and I’ll try and help
@MacGraeme42@stevenstrogatz I understand what you’re saying. What I’m saying is that that methodology doesn’t fit the description and that the important thing isn’t that it’s wrong but that they are incapable of admitting they made a mistake on something that few would fault them for if they owned up to it
@MacGraeme42@stevenstrogatz Not here. Price reduction ,which is what is being discussed, has a concrete definition. If they misspoke and then proceeded to change their messaging to reflect that then I don’t think anyone would fault them. The problem is that they are incapable of doing that
@MacGraeme42@stevenstrogatz So two problems here. The first is that no matter how the numbers are framed here, math is math. What the administration is saying is just mathematically wrong. The second and more important problem here is the inability for them to admit that they made a mistake and then fix it
@BrentScher “The lady doth protest too much, methinks”
Gerrymandering from either side disenfranchises the voice of the people. At least VA had the common decency to put it to a statewide vote, unlike my state who did it just because they could
So on this Aggie Muster day let’s all remember what it means to truly be an Aggie! Excellence, Integrity, Leadership, Loyalty, Respect, and Selfless Service.
Softly call the Muster, let comrade answer “Here”…
As a member of the Corps of Cadets and FTAB there were three events that always reinforced how unique Texas A&M and the Aggie Spirit is. Academic Plaza during Silver Taps, Bonfire Memorial at 2:41 AM on November 18 every year, and Aggie Muster in Reed Arena. 1/
While the halftime performances and football games were fun (if not heartbreaking on many occasions) and the corps games were both absurd and helped forge friendships I’ll carry with me to my grave, these three events will always stand out to me as what truly makes A&M special.
