I want you all to think back to January 2022, when Ashling Murphy was murdered by a migrant, the politicians weren't outraged about that as much as they are outraged about the minor assault on Michael Healy-Rae.

Think back to April 2022, when an an Iraqi migrant killed two Irish men in Sligo, he chopped them up, cut one of their heads off. The politicians weren't outraged about that either.

Then think back to November 2023, when an African man tried to kill three kids outside their school in Dublin. The politicians weren't outraged about that, in fact they focused on the reaction of Irish people and called us all racists.

Think back to 2024, an army chaplain was stabbed by a Muslim teenager. Zero outrage, no calls to protect democracy.

2025, a 10-year-old girl was attacked by an African migrant, a man who was issued a deportation order 7 months earlier. He wasn't deported, he remained in Ireland and attacked a child. Surely the politicians were outraged about that? Nope. Once again, they focused on the reaction from Irish people.

Also 2025, Brazilian man Gabriel Ferreira Motta Valladares went on a stabbing spree and tried to kill three Irish people. No outrage.

Think back to February of this year when an African woman drove a bus into a crowd of pedestrians and killed Irish man Frank Daly. No outrage from the politicians, silence.

I have a suggestion for all these outraged politicians, shut up.

The more I think about the Somali social housing issue the angrier I get.

I get up at 6am every morning to go to work. The government takes half of every single euro I earn so that I have just enough to get nothing back from them but not enough so that I can buy a home in the area I grew up in.

My generation is being forced to live in their childhood bedrooms deep into their 30s just so they can have the opportunity to grossly overpay for a home nothing like what they wanted.

All the while the state takes that 50% they stole from me to give homes to Somali scammers fresh off the boat who's only contribution to this country will be to degrade any area they are put in.

It's sick what's being done to us by the people who claim to be our leaders.

Played golf as child for a fiver a year in Castlerea Golf Club with the lend of my Aunts golf clubs. Obsessively followed Irish Golfers. My favourite was Eamon Darcy. Remember getting a such a buzz when he won the Belgian open. Last round was cancelled but he led after 3rd round so he got the trophy. Slim pickings back then. So any bit of glory was great.
