@TO_dpr Is this a ‘what do we do now’ or what would we like to do? What’s best practice? I’d lean in to @SPORAlliance@ATricco has done with their patient initiated research. Happy to chat about my experiences and what I’ve had to do?

Super disappointed in @CIHR_IRSC I’d say ‘know ur audience’ but looking at the likes and comments it’s obvious we have a long way to go before #patientorientedresearch#patientpartnerships culture shifts. Any one up to opening our own research institute led by pts 4 pts? 🤞
@seastarbatita Agree @seastarbatita I’m surprised and disappointed. Highlights the deep bias and stigma that still exists, and makes me feel like we have no power or agency. Unbelievable after all the work, like you, I’ve done to contribute to #Patientorientedresearch
