@jasonintrator Reminds me of when I was in high school, some classmates of mine really didn’t like our English teacher, so they kidnapped him (“just to scare him”) but fatefully forgot to give him his angina medication, causing him to die of cardiac arrest. Thank goodness CNN wasn’t around.

Americans deserve to know to what extent the federal government works with social media companies. Is there any quid pro quo? The First Amendment exists to keep the government from controlling what Americans hear. Free societies counter misinformation with information, not bans.

@EITMonline Elliot, Mondale’s VP candidate Geraldine Ferraro wasn’t the first female VP candidate. The Libertarian Party in 1972 had Tonie Nathan as VP candidate, and their ticket won an Electoral College vote (so first woman to win an EC vote, too).
