There were 3 separate lightning strikes along I-99 in Central PA between 6:15PM and 7:15PM. We have received several reports from folks in the area that SNOW was falling at the time of these strikes.

*** F1 Tornado Confirmed 6/21/21 ***
The National Weather Service in Binghamton confirmed an EF-1 tornado occurred in Dryden, NY, on 6/21/21. The tornado touched down in Yellow Barn State Forest at 5:38 PM and ended at 5:49. The tornado was 85 yards wide and traveled 2.8 miles.

A line of showers and thunderstorms will move quickly east through NEPA and central NY between 4 and 8 pm. Wind gusts of 50 to 60 miles per hour are possible. The winds may down trees and powerlines, resulting in isolated power outages.
