@WrathOfCrows When I tell you that the dc compact editions which is supposed to be an affordable way to get into comics and usually costs around $7 in the US costs at least twice as much here thanks to the translation and the Czech publisher
@WrathOfCrows Also forget about finding single issues or comics in English 99% stuff that gets sold in bookstores is translated and translating single issues wouldn’t be profitable so it’s always volumes which are naturally more expensive plus added price for the translation
@WrathOfCrows No bc I went to one of the only physical comic stores in my country and they had one green lantern comic which happened to be an expensive ass omnibus 😭 there’s one store that has a pretty okay selection but otherwise if you like any character that’s not Batman you’re fucked
This all being only dc and marvel is crazy work because if it was a bookstore in my country there would be half the amount and only like two shelves would be from them with the rest being other franchises and graphic novels
@vampyrebonez mb i didn’t notice but my point still stands there’s like 15 dc comics in my bookstore and 10 of them are Batman not to mention it’s always the same books in every store and there’s about five comic stores in my entire country 😭
I feel like early in their friendship Rocky would be curious about Grace’s glasses (ft. Grace’s inability to wear them correctly) #projecthailmary#rylandgrace#gracerocky
@GoodNightDrew I feel like the shoulder pads are more prevalent esp in modern comics and generally more popular but im also a big fan of Hal looking like he’s wearing a leotard for his first gymnastics competition
