Had an amazing bootcamp and got some really good practice 🙏
One thing I love about Japan (and also Pakistan) is the passion for offline gatherings. Meeting players, playing long sets, sharing ideas, and improving together.
I always believed there are two mindsets in fighting games. One is being afraid that someone will “download” you. The other is: “Please download me, so I can find my weaknesses and become stronger.”
When someone adapts to you, it forces you to discover new answers and evolve. That’s how growth happens.
I really respect this mindset and I see a lot of Japanese players sharing the same approach.
Happy with my decision to spend more time here. Online practice in Japan is also amazing for learning matchups, but nothing replaces the experience of playing, talking, and improving together offline.
