@panny_lines @jamesjhaeck You learn a thing (oh it's a room! Looks empty) and then you can learn more by doing a touch more (for lack of a better word) perceiving. To me, my game world is a reflection of how I see the real world (with a good amount of fantasy for sure!)
@panny_lines @jamesjhaeck I usually use language such as "it appears to be an empty room" because I feel (as the GM) that's what the players would perceive. They would open the door to the unknown room and it would appear to be empty on first inspection. It's like that in the real world.
