So a lot of what looked like math tutoring was really catching that spiral, naming it, and getting him back to the problem before the story took over.
The math was the easy part.
Most of the game is keeping him in the challenge zone.
Hard enough that he has to fight for it, but not so hard he shuts down. Too easy and nothing sticks; too hard and he's gone.
I spend every session adjusting that one dial.
I thought it was confirmed successful. Well, seeing the scene of the attack, zero chance he survived.
Anyway, this last man standing? I’m sure he is not nervous at all…
If Gaza was paradise before 10/7, then why did they attack?
If it was an open air prison, why are they now claiming it was paradise?
If Gaza is the home of the “Palestinians”, then how are they refugees in their own home?
If it’s not their home and life is so bad there, why aren’t they jumping at the opportunity to relocate?
If there’s no food or water in Gaza, how are the hostages being fed well (as they claim)?
If there is enough food there to feed the hostages well, why do they keep lying about starvation?
If the Pro Hamas crowd is calling to globalize the intifada, how are they also calling for a ceasefire? Do they want violence or peace?
If they chant ‘From the river to the sea’, aka erase Israel from the map, how do they also call for a two state solution?
If the protests are ‘only’ against Zionists and not Jews, why are they assaulting random Jews on the streets and on the internet?
If Gazans, by the thousands, are protesting Hamas in Gaza, why is it that western countries don’t see what Gazans see?
If someone was truly “Pro Palestinian”, why wouldn’t they listen to the very people they are supposed to be fighting for? Why wouldn’t they read the charters of the PA and of Hamas, the official government of Gaza?
And if you read the charter of the PA that states clearly what it wants, and it’s not a state, and you don’t believe them, why would you believe Hamas’ casualty numbers? Are they reliable or not?
If you still believe the ridiculous lie about Israel committing genocide, why is Israel sending in soldiers on foot and risking their lives and why is israel dropping pamphlets to warn civilians of an upcoming attack? Does that sound like genocide to you? Why not just use its Airforce and flatten Gaza?
If Israel is ethnically cleansing the “Palestinians”, how has their population grown year over year?
If Israel is an apartheid state, how are there Muslim Arab parties in Israel’s parliament as well as Arab judges in Israel’s Supreme Court?
If the “Palestinians” have such a rich history of thousands of years, can you name a single Palestinian leader before the Mufti who collaborated with the Nazis? Name one.
If Israel was committing war crimes like the world would have you believe, why do Gazans and pro Hamas activists keep getting caught lying about casualty numbers and photos that weren’t even taken in Gaza? Why lie if your truth is so strong?
If the “Palestinians” wanted a state and not just dead Jews, why didn’t they make one when Israel handed them Gaza in 2005? Or for that matter, when they were offered one in 1947 right alongside Israel.
If Hamas and thousands of Gazans live streamed 10/7 and declared it their proudest day, how do people still claim Israel made it up?
If you’re quoting casualty numbers from Gaza, what is your source? Hint: There are only two sides of this war and Israel has not released casualty numbers, so your only possible source is Hamas, a group of murderers, rapists, and pedophiles. Surely a very reliable source.
If you have a problem with innocent people dying in Gaza, have you had anything to say about the thousands of innocents murdered intentionally by Hamas? One is tragic collateral damage (just like any war) and the other is intentional targeting of civilians.
If you’re judging the legitimacy of this war based on the (fabricated) casualty numbers, is that how you’d determine the legitimacy of every other war, like WWII, for example or is it only when Jews are defending themselves?
If Israel occupied an Arab Palestinian state, when was that state established and what was its national anthem?
Just some questions for you to ponder if you still don’t realize that the entire Palestinian narrative is one big lie and it has been from day one.
I have not received a single good answer to any of the above questions. Not one.
I spoke to the man who invented Iron Dome.
He told me something that honestly shook me.
Israel’s missile defense systems were NEVER built to work together - and yet since October 7, they’ve operated almost flawlessly.
Technology explains a lot.
Not everything.

Sit down for this.
There is not a single white British child in 72 schools across the UK. Not one!
But wait, there’s more.
In 454 schools, white British kids make up less 2% of the student body.
White British children are also now a minority in one of four schools.
What could possibly go wrong?
Holy Zionist, Batman!
WhatsApp founder, Jan Koum just wrote a check to Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem.
Want to take a guess how big the donation is?
Hint: It’s the largest philanthropic donation in the history of Israel's healthcare system.
Ready?
$200,000,000!!
Once upon a time, a young Jewish boy arrived in California from Kiev. He was 16.
His family lived on food stamps.
He cleaned floors at a grocery store for some pocket change.
Today, that little boy’s donation will triple the size of one of Jerusalem's most important hospitals!
Absolutely incredible.
Faith in humanity… Restored.

Come to Israel once.
That's all I'm asking. Anyone who visits will tell you the same thing - they feel safer here.
They sleep better here. Israel is paradise.
You don't have to lower your quality of life. You can earn the same money.
The excuses are gone. The only way to justify staying out is to bury your head in the sand.

https://t.co/NUs02KpmWc.
This was written by someone, not me. But sums it up pretty well, what was she thinking?
I’m a mother, so I’m going to comment right now. I will say this exactly the way a mother thinks it, raw, direct, and without pretending this is complicated. A 37-year-old woman. Three kids. Middle of a work week. The father of those children is dead. She is the parent left. The one job she has above every cause, every protest, every headline, is getting home to her kids.
And what is she doing instead?
She’s out of state (other reports claim she lives there), in the street, in her car, blocking federal agents who are doing their job. Not alone! Her partner is right there filming her like this is some brave little documentary moment. Around them: sirens blaring, people yelling, pure chaos, manufactured chaos, so agents can’t do their lawful duty.
Her window is down. She hears the orders. She understands the orders. She ignores the orders.
Then she puts the car in reverse.
Still doesn’t comply.
Then she puts it in drive, NOT park! She moves forward into the agent.
That’s not “confusion.”
That’s not “panic.”
That’s decision after decision after decision.
Now put yourself in the agent’s shoes for half a second. A driver is already in an unlawful act! refusing commands in a hostile, chaotic scene, and now that driver uses a vehicle to move toward you. You get a split second. You don’t get the luxury of “Maybe she’s just stressed.” You have to assume the worst, you have to think of protecting other people like the partner at the window, because if you assume the best and you’re wrong, you don’t go home or someone else.
So the agent fires after she makes an intentional and aggressive move toward him, because he has no idea what her intentions are, and she just demonstrated she’s willing to escalate.
Now… imagine her three kids. At school. Sitting there like any other day. Not knowing their mother is out playing street-hero games for criminals in the middle of a work week, with the two adults responsible for them!
She didn’t think about them.
She didn’t think, “If I get arrested, who picks my babies up?”
She didn’t think, “If I get hurt, who raises them?”
She didn’t think, “If I die, they have nobody.”
She thought about protecting criminals.
She thought about interfering with federal agents.
She thought about the camera.
She thought about the crowd.
She thought about the moment.
There is no amount of evidence, money, tears on TV, or news spin that can make this make sense.
As a mother: NOTHING about this makes sense.
At minimum, she knew her actions could get her arrested. At minimum. And she still chose it. She chose strangers. She chose chaos. She chose lawlessness.
Make it make sense, because the only thing I see is three kids who just got abandoned by the only parent they had left, not by accident… but by a series of deliberate choices.
For nine months, my wife, Brooklyn, carried our baby boy. And for nine months, we lived in a place between hope and heartbreak.
Early in the pregnancy, we learned something was terribly wrong. Around the three- to four-month mark, doctors told us our son had severe hydrocephalus — fluid building so rapidly in his brain that it pushed everything aside. They used to call it “water on the brain,” but the simplicity of the name didn’t soften the reality.
We were eventually referred to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, where some of the best fetal specialists in the country met with us. And they gave us the kind of news no parent is ever prepared to hear.
His condition was so severe, so extreme, that they stopped measuring. There was no point, they said. The MRI images were devastating. We were told there was a greater than 90% chance our son would either:
• Die shortly after birth, or
• Survive with such profound cognitive impairment that life — real life — would not be possible.
We sat through meetings no parent should ever sit through. Conversations about breathing tubes. About how long to try. About the moment we might have to make the decision to let him go.
Brooklyn moved to Cincinnati to be close to the hospital. I drove back and forth — working, caring for our daughters Sophie and Lily, and trying to keep our home standing while our world felt like it was falling apart.
Then came July 8th.
Just 15 minutes before Brooklyn’s C-section, we sat with doctors again and discussed when — not if — we might have to remove life support and let our son go to heaven.
I don’t have words for that kind of pain.
And then — Charlie Edward Schnarr entered this world crying.
A strong, loud, defiant cry.
The most beautiful sound I have ever heard.
He stayed in the NICU until yesterday… and now we are home. Together. Holding him. Loving him. Watching him breathe. Watching him live.
He has mild ventricular enlargement we will keep an eye on — but otherwise?
He is thriving. Eating. Wiggling. Yawning. Gripping our fingers. Looking around at a world that was never supposed to be his.
The doctors have no explanation. They said his brain somehow cleared the blockage on its own — something none of them have seen in a case this severe. The word that kept echoing through the NICU from seasoned nurses and top specialists was the same:
“Miracle.”
“Divine intervention.”
They said it. Not us.
We know thousands of people — family, friends, coworkers, strangers — were praying for our son. I believe with everything in me that God heard those prayers. That He placed His hand on Charlie. That He said, not this one.
I will spend the rest of my life thanking Him.
To every person who prayed for us — every text, every message, every whispered intention — thank you. You carried us when we were too exhausted to carry ourselves.
Prayer is real.
God is real.
And miracles… they still happen.
With a full and grateful heart,
—Nick
I am disturbed. Deeply deeply disturbed.
And somehow, I am simultaneously hopeful and proud.
Ok, what am I talking about?
I just walked in the door to my house. I came back from the movies. Haven’t been to a movie theater in years.
We went to see Nuremberg.
It was a fantastic movie, if one can even use the word fantastic about something so deep and sinister.
What I mean is that the movie was done well, the cast was excellent, and the acting superb.
If you’re not familiar, it’s a movie about how the world prosecuted some of the Nazi leadership after the war and after trying them for their crimes, they executed them by hanging.
(Besides those cowards who took their own lives before they could be held accountable for their actions. Our enemies are always cowards.)
Of course it was a very heavy movie but that is not why I am so disturbed.
I am so disturbed by the fact that if I had watched this movie just five years ago, even three years ago, I would have spent the majority of the movie thinking to myself “How on earth did that happen?”
“How did moral people sit back and let this happen?”
“How did the hatred of the Jew get so bad before the Holocaust that it could possibly have led to this?”
“How could any human see what Hitler was doing and what his people were doing and not yell at the top of their lunges 24/7 until someone heard them?”
“This can’t be real. This could not really have happened. I can’t understand how this could have happened.”
But I didn’t think any of that as I was watching the movie today.
Want to know what I was thinking the entire time?
I was thinking “Well, yea, that’s happening now.”
“Yep, that happened yesterday in NY. A charismatic leader who speaks openly about his hatred of the Jew was elected by the public.”
I was thinking “Yep, Jewish shops were vandalized this week too…”
“Yea, we have antisemites in governments around the world today too. Half of congress is antisemitic!”
“Yep, Jews are again being banned from places. Campuses. Social events. Jobs. It’s all happening again exactly as it happened then.”
“Today, too”, I thought to myself, “people around the world are also pondering how they can find a final solution to the Jew problem.”
I watched this movie about evil Nazis and found myself nodding my head thinking how each one of the Nazis in the movie reminded me of some leader somewhere in the world today whether in the US, the UK, Australia, Ireland, and you know the rest. The list is long.
And if you’re going to come back at me with the “Stop comparing, it’s not the same.”, I have two words for you.
Shut up.
No, seriously, shut up. It is EXACTLY the same!
And that’s not me saying it. My great aunt who survived three Nazi camps said it to me.
I asked her, “You saw the rise of antisemitism before the Holocaust and you’re seeing it again now. How do they compare?”
Her answer.
“The same!”
So if you’re still in denial that we are seeing the 1930s all over again, then just shut up and go live with your head in the sand somewhere else.
It’s the same rhetoric only we’ve replaced “The Jews contaminate our blood.” To “The Jews are committing genocide”, “The Jews are occupiers.”, “The Jews are colonizers.”, “The Jews have too much control.”, “The Jews get too much aid and are too influential in my country.”, “The Jews killed Kirk.”, “The Jews did 9/11.”, “The Jews killed JFK.”, “The Jews sexually abuse innocent Palestinians.”
Do I even need to go on? I can go on for a long long time. The blood libels today are as ridiculous as they ever were but somehow, just like back then, the masses are listening to these lies and believing them.
The only thing that’s changed is the why.
But that’s the thing with antisemitism. The why doesn’t matter.
They hated us then because we weren’t white enough. Now they hate us because we’re too white; we’re white colonizers.
They hated us when we were poor and called us parasites. They hated us when we were rich and called us controlling.
They hated us when we were stateless and now they hate us because we have a state.
Back then, they told us to get out of Europe and go back to Palestine (Israel.). Now they’re telling us to get out of Israel and go back to Europe.
The why doesn’t matter. It’s just an act, a charade, a mask.
So watching this movie, I was and am deeply disturbed at the reminder that we are seeing it all happen right in front of our eyes and just like the world saw it and was silent then, today the world sees the Jew hatred spiking all over the globe and again, they are silent.
This, of course, isn’t some new realization that I had after watching this movie. Of course I knew this to be the case for a long time.
Never again is a lie we were told as kids. It’s a lie because the world will ABSOLUTELY (try to) do it again, they’ll just come up with some new excuse to scapegoat the Jew.
This movie just sharpened it for me because I watched the characters stand trial for the crimes of the concentration camps and I’m reminded that these people, the Nazis, they weren’t monsters.
It’s easy to paint them as monsters so we don’t have to deal with the question of how can a human being, a person of my species do what they did? So we call them monsters.
But they weren’t. They were sons. Fathers. Husbands. They truly believed they were doing the right thing. They truly believed the Jews were evil and needed to be exterminated like insects.
They didn’t think of themselves as evil monsters. They gassed Jews then went home and had dinner with their families. They were progressive. They were patriots. All they were doing, in their minds, was protecting their country from the evil Jew.
The people around the world today who love those internet memes with the Jew and his hook nose? The people holding signs that call to clean the world of Zionist trash? The ones who pull down signs of innocent baby hostages? The people behind the stands in the international criminal court? They are EXACTLY, yes EXACTLY like the Nazis were before the camps opened.
Don’t give me the whole “But the Nazis killed 6 million.”
Do you think for a second that these people around the world, the radical islamists, the “progressive” left anti Israel activists, the extreme right antisemites like Tucker or Candace, do you think they’d stand up for the Jews if someone tried to kill 6 million Jews today?
You think Hamas wouldn’t jump at the opportunity to kill 6 million of us today?
Then you’re delusional.
And you know what else? The Nazis drank themselves to sleep every night. Somewhere deep down, many of them had shame.
Hamas live streamed what they did. The majority of Gaza, by all polls, support 10/7.
Many Germans saved Jews. Their conscience forced them to.
NOT ONE GAZAN, DESPITE BEING OFFERED MILLIONS OF DOLLARS, NOT ONE GAVE ISRAEL ANY INFO ON A HOSTAGE. NOT ONE GAZAN SAVED EVEN ONE JEWISH LIFE!
So don’t give me this “Today is different.”
I’m done listening to that lie.
So yea, deeply deeply disturbed.
But also, I have two words to say to those modern day Nazis; the Jew haters of all kinds. Two words.
Hell no!
You can’t round us up today and send us to concentration camps. Wanna know why? Because the IDF will eliminate you if you try.
You can’t exterminate us by the millions. Want to know why? Not because you wouldn’t want to but because the Mossad knows where you live!
You can lie all you want, make up stories about us all you want, incite to violence and murder of Jews all you want, but you’ll fail. Want to know why? Three letters.
I. D. F
You can attack Jewish events and vandalize synagogues. You can harass Jews and assault them. That’s on you. But ultimately, your plan will fail.
You can no longer bully us and I know that’s hard to hear.
This time, it’s different. This time, we have Israel. This time, the Jews are not weak. This time we can and will fight back.
This time, the Jewish state leads the world in sophisticated military weaponry. This time, the Jewish state has the world’s best intel agencies. The best Air Force. A miraculously powerful army.
This time your lies will only get you so far. This time, you will lose. The only one that’ll be exterminated here is you, if you don’t leave us Jews alone.
So bring your internet memes. Boycott us. Harass us. Give it your best shot. You will lose and it won’t take decades.
This time, you’ll lose a lot faster and a lot more painfully.
So, I left this movie with an internal conflict.
Can we say never again or can’t we?
The answer is that we can. We can say proudly that it’ll never happen again but not for the reason I was told.
It won’t happen again not because the world is too moral today or because western civilization is too progressive. It won’t happen again not because today we have social media so it’ll all be exposed to the world. It won’t happen again not because anyone would care if it did.
I can say that the mass extermination of Jews will indeed not happen again because, for the first time in history, WE WON’T LET IT HAPPEN AGAIN!
So to all you closeted and not closeted antisemites out there, I say to you, you are no better than the Nazis. They were no more monstrous than you are.
You can find all the excuses in the world to justify your Jew hatred. It all won’t matter. You’re insignificant in the grand scheme of things.
Long after you’re gone, we, the Jewish people will be here.
We will be here winning Nobel Prizes.
We will be here developing cures for cancer.
We will be here developing world leading aerial defense systems.
We will be here leading the world in cutting edge innovation.
We will be here leaving a positive mark on the world.
You, you will be some footnote of a page in a history book that tells the story of all those who came after the Jews and perished.
You’ll be gone and we’ll be here thriving and flourishing.
An Yisrael Chai is not just an empty phrase. It’s a historical reality. How many Babylonians do you know? They’re all gone. And we’re here.
That’s our story. And that’s how this ends.
So enjoy your bullying now because what you don’t realize is that when we hit back, you’re going to wish you never poked the bear.
Never again, no thanks to you!
Never again, thanks to Hashem who gave us the miraculous state of Israel that is here to ensure that it’ll never happen again!
Antisemitism doesn’t exist because of the state of Israel.
The state of Israel has to exist because of antisemitism.
We saw what happened when we depend on others to defend us. Those days are over.
Now, for the first time, we can defend ourselves and that’s exactly what we plan on doing.
To all you Jew haters out there, you don’t get it, so I’ll make this perfectly clear to you, and say…
Am Yisrael Chai, you fools!
Here’s what I think will happen in NYC under Mahdami.
The free buses and government grocery stores won’t happen, they never do. They sound good during campaigns, but collapse under basic math. You can’t run a city on ideas that cost billions and produce no revenue.
The only way to make housing affordable is to build more housing. The free market lowers prices, not regulation. Every time politicians try to control rent or force affordability by decree, developers stop building and landlords stop maintaining. Supply dries up, the quality collapses, and the few properties that remain skyrocket in price.
Once landlords can’t make a profit, they sell, lose properties, or walk away. Eventually, the government takes over.
Taxes will rise to pay for the promises, and the middle class will be the ones shouldering the burden. The rich will relocate, the poor will depend on subsidies, and the productive class will be squeezed from both sides.
Thriving businesses are the foundation of any thriving city. When they leave, everything else follows, jobs, schools, grocery stores, stability. Chicago already proved this. Boeing, McDonald’s, Caterpillar, Citadel, nearly 70k jobs, all gone. Now they’re facing billion-dollar deficits, half empty schools and neighborhoods without grocery stores.
I saw someone who lived in a rent-controlled apartment in California put it perfectly, he said his landlord could no longer afford maintenance so the pool was filled with dirt, the floors had soft spots, and the foundation ended up cracking. That’s what overregulation does, it destroys quality.
People who voted for this will eventually feel the pain but they won’t blame the policies or the politicians, they’ll blame the rich for leaving.
This conversation is always difficult because most people simply don’t understand market dynamics or incentives. In a free society, people act in their own self-interest. If you remove profit and reward dependency, productivity dies and the city with it.
If you think things are expensive now, just wait until they’re “free.”
