The cgt change will be a wrecking ball to the economy, it will discourage investment, business and individual responsibility and kill the entrepreneurial spirit. The poor who are saving with stocks, bonds, crypto or whatever they dream is appropriate with their own money on the hope one day their risk is rewarded, perhaps on the hopes of being leveraged to own a home in Australia is now destroyed. You now have the government stealing in essence 1/2 your investment. Many wealthy will leave and the country is the worse off all around. Albo thinks sport is more important than the economy. He hopes you do too.

Pro tip - it isn't.

Sport does not provide food, housing or anything else beyond entertainment - for all but the privledged few directly involved in the business.

Sport, particularly amateur and community sport has an important part to play in people's mental and physical well-being. Especially the youth - no doubt.

But the economy is the lifeblood of the country. Which makes it orders of magnitude more important.

Luxon, a business man, has more than a basic, abstract and theoretical understanding of the economy.

He has driven an economic recovery in NZ, and even as it is recovering he rightly thinks adding a capital gains tax would put a "wrecking ball" through it.

Our genius in chief has our economy on the ropes, and is warming up the wrecking ball as you read this.

The man is totally out of his depth, and dare I say 'out of his league'.

Australia deserves better than the careerist hacks and losers that fill out parliaments around the nation.

We really do and fast.

Because people are suffering. People can't afford to eat, get a roof over their heads or find meaningful work. Our economy is dying. And the Wallabies won't fix it.

African teens make up 1% of the population & are OVER 50% of our youth detention for serious crimes.

They are making our lives hell. Aussie Kids are afraid to go out into their own communities because of these savages.

3 White Aussies already murdered in my community by savages. Friends kids are having guns, machetes & knives pulled on them.

Remigration is the only peaceful solution.

The Australian people will finally get a fair share of their oil and gas resources under a ground-breaking new policy launched by One Nation on Thursday.

The policy will foster more exploration and development of Australia's world-class energy reserves and secure domestic supplies for energy production and critical industries like fertiliser manufacturing and liquid fuel refining.

The policy will give the industry a 30% rebate on oil and gas exploration in Commonwealth waters. In exchange, the Commonwealth would take up to a 30% non-operating equity stake in production licences through a new taxpayer-owned investment vehicle: the Australian Natural Wealth Investment Corporation (ANWIC).

ANWIC will use its share of gas and oil to meet domestic demand first, and export the surplus. Profits from the sale of taxpayer-owned gas and oil will be put in a sovereign wealth fund, and also used to pay off the nation's $1 trillion debt. The corporation would also share in 30% of costs, including the all-important decommissioning phase when the wells cease production.

One Nation will also replace the no-longer-fit-for-purpose Petroleum Rent Resource Tax on industry profits with a royalty on industry production, giving the industry more certainty and the Australian people a fairer return.

One Nation will fight to:

✔ Lower household energy costs
✔ Support local manufacturing
✔ Secure reliable energy for the future
