@PeterBlack511 I love how the bread and water is digested and literally becomes a part of our bodies at a cellular level. Symbolic of become a new creature in every way.
@PeterBlack511 3….I’ve noticed a parallel pattern of trials we are passing through strinkingly similar to last years trials. Heavenly Father is showing me evidence of growth and strengthening over the past year through side by side comparison. Things don’t go away, we just get stronger.
@PeterBlack511 2…would open doors to receive revelation outside the temple, which it has. I find the same concept at play for sabbath day observance. It’s not always on the sabbath that I receive the revelation I’m seeking or listening for on the sabbath. But my striving, I open doors for it.
@PeterBlack511 A year later, amid all the anxiety that we feel, my wife is pregnant again. We are past the last miscarriage mark, but to be in this place of the unknown with all of its triggers is a miracle. I don’t know the outcome, but I have faith in Christ and the outcome won’t change that.
@PeterBlack511 We’ve had several miscarriages, last years being the most traumatic with my wife nearly losing her life in the process. The spirit firmly taught me at that time that outcome is not the origin of faith, but to place my faith in Him. You only need me, the spirit whispered.
@PeterBlack511 I try to lead with a question. I haven’t read the scriptures chronologically for quite some time, but I enjoy diving into a good nuance or dig deeper on simple lines and phrases we always say. I like to break down words and also like deconstructing paradigms
@KeneAkers That God the Father and Jesus Christ are separate beings having physical bodies of flesh and bone, though perfected. Also, they have passions, meaning they weep when we do and have joy as we have joy. They ultimately are willingly vulnerable to emotions.
@ironshrink I’ve tried multiple times to establish “Happy hub, happy club” in our house, but it didn’t make the wife happy, so now life isn’t happy. ;)
@PeterBlack511 I needed this! Such beautiful writing. I love how relatable his back and forth inner dialogue is. It’s almost like that brother who asked Christ to help him with his unbelief to heal his child. He knows, then doubts, the is reminded of mercy through the spirit, then doubts…
