I would like to thank the coaches and teammates from @CUAABaseball for the amazing journey this past year. With that said, I’m very excited to announce that I will be continuing my academic and athletic career to play D1 baseball at Oakland University! @JCBanfield @OaklandBASE
Second team for Brandon Heidal is an absolute joke… higher OPS, not including 18 more HBP and the defense isn’t even close. 0 errors. Teams don’t even attempt to steal and he’s thrown out more guys. Be better @HorizonLeague
When you lead the league in Wins, Saves, Innings and Strikeouts it’s hard to ignore…What a great career at OU that ain’t over just yet‼️
He’ll make any scout/org that signs him look good. Just give him the damn ball.
My guy Brandon Heidal finished the year 6th in BA, 3rd in OBP, T-7 in OPS and 5th in R.
More importantly he allowed a total of 21 SB and threw out 43%‼️ The next best in the league were 47 SBA and 28% CS.
He’ll leave here as the all-time leader in games played and our backbone.
By far the best catcher in the league, and one of the best in the country. This guy is the reason I’m the pitcher I am today. It’s a shame he continues to not be completely recognized for his greatness. Incredible things lie ahead for you @BrandonHeidal
.@OaklandBSB player @bdeck_15 has been named the @HorizonLeague pitcher of the year. He leads the HL in K's, saves, IPs, & Ws. He was the relief pitcher of the year in 23 before his conversion to starting. We hear from him on @WWJ950 at 1:23 and throughout the afternoon.

Brandon Decker becomes the first Horizon League pitcher to earn Relief Pitcher of the Year (2023) and Pitcher of the Year in back-to-back years!
Congrats, Decker 🔥
BIG shoutout to our very own Brandon Decker on setting the single-season school record for innings pitched!
Decker topped 100.0 IP on the season during today's win over PFW 💪
