THIS IS A FLYING IN A WHEELCHAIR AWARENESS POST

A month ago, I flew for the third time since using a wheelchair (since 2008).

Once again, my @PermobilUSA chair was damaged both ways.

I filed a claim with @AveloAir both times (the representatives who assisted me were very helpful and kind), but now @Scootaround is saying that only one claim went through and that I need to call Avelo again. They also questioned why I didn't get the chair fixed while in Florida, even though @GoNumotion doesn't always have parts in stock and some need to be ordered. Additionally, obtaining a receipt from Numotion requires going through numerous steps.

Also Avelo's wheelchair straps were broken and put me in a dangerous situation.

Meanwhile, my chair remains unrepaired, which is simply unacceptable. This is why I hesitate to fly.
