i talked to a trans catholic woman the other day.

its interesting -- i've been very clear about my personal opinions around trans being a mental illness .

but talking to a person in the context of them wrestling with their own faith around jesus, i couldn't help but think that these were exactly the people that jesus would be telling us to love.

and so this entire conversation, all i could think about was how i could show love and grace to this person. it was a privilege to talk to her.
