Finally found some 2026 @Topps Series 2 at @target. Bought 2 of each (got the last two blasters, jumbo, & small packs as well). Both Jumbos packs have Munetaka Murakami on the front of the pack (how did people miss this?!) Question for the group: open 1 & hold 1 or open both??!

@JoelsHitShow @ThoseBackPages @tenaciousjdd I get MLB legends not being included in the base set compared to NBA legends. You can only add so many before the point of the set is lost. With NBA, there are only so many players being included they have room and licensing agreements to include legends.

@JoelsHitShow @ThoseBackPages @tenaciousjdd I never minded the SP legend cards from 2009 through 2011. It became too much of a hassle once Topps layered scarcity with SP and SSP variations. Then add variations of current players and the concept lost it's appeal.

@Temporary_Times @CardPurchaser Dennis Eckersley comes to mind. Was a decent putcher in the first half of his career, not great. It was when he went to Oakland and became a closer that he became the dominant prescence that led him to the HOF.

@biggsdaddycool @Topps Don't forget that there was a second book, one that had all cards from 1951 through 1990. If anything supplemental book would need to start with 1990 Traded through 2026 Update Series. A book with all 75 years worth of sets would be huge...and I'd want to buy it!!!

It's happening. I have my Jumbo Box of 2026 @Topps Series 1, pkus some extras. I can't wait to see what these cards look like up close. Bought 3 regular packs and one will be the first pack with the first card. Who will be my card number 1? Stay tuned. #blogthehobby #TheHobby

@flywheels @Topps If they had removed all the "Series 1" verbiage, I would have bought one as well. I hope if they donthis again for 2026 Topps that they focus on the 75th Anniversary thing instead of S1.
