https://t.co/i7ljWKKm4D serves as the portal to all information related to the TV Series, the book A Face FromUranus, and the 2000 docu-drama Letters to Uranus; the hidden life of Tedd Burr which featured the then seventy-six year old Tedd Burr, revealing that his complete correspondence with Henry Bellamann had been sitting in a cardboard box for fifty-five years, after Mrs. Bellamann had sent back to Tedd all of the letters her husband had saved.  Having been in ill health for several years, Henry died from a heart attack in June, 1945 and is interred at the Church of Heavenly Rest in NYC.  The series pilot is available upon request.

The psycho/sexual tension of Tedd and Henry’s seemingly unlikely relationship is a story that can only be told now. It’s transgender/homosexual theme has gained even more importance and purpose after the POTUS recently signed an executive order declaring that there are only two genders—male and female.  Given the authoritarian regime that is rapidly taking over the United States and First Amendment rights quickly eroding, it now seems imperative that European producers bring this ambitious period drama to life. I’m a collaborator with Lenny Pinna, the book’s publisher and screenwriter for the TV series; We recently gave Producer David Furnish a copy of the book to consider, telling him that we think you are perfect for the role.  We believe if you championed this project, it would become a fully realized quality series that could significantly contribute to the betterment of the current socio/political climate as well as to the creative and artistic influences within our culture.

Hello Jason, Ten years ago, I reached out to you about an article I wrote about Dig; I’ve been following your career ever since.  I’d now like to tell you about an imaginatively creative and socially poignant proposed new Limited TV Series, In TheName of Jamie Wakefield “Too Pretty For A Boy” based on the book A FACE FROM URANUS: Correspondence Between Tedd Burr and Henry Bellamann 1943-1945.  Contained within their intimate letters is a psychologically compelling story about Tedd Burr, a 19-year old “pretty boy” living in a small town in Ohio, and Henry Bellamann, a 60 year old best-selling author living with his wife at the Ansonia Hotel in NYC.  Henry is a role for which you would be absolutely perfect!  He is extremely complex, having been socially ostracized as a boy as the bastard child of German immigrants who became a highly accomplished pianist and teacher—eventually becoming the Dean of Music at the prestigious Curtiss Institute of Music in Philadelphia and then serving on the governing board of the Julliard School of Music before becoming a best-selling author.  His 1940 controversial novel Kings Row was a huge success and was made into a Warner Brothers film starring a young Ronald Reagan.  It was Tedd’s complete identification with a character in the novel-- Jamie Wakefield described as “too pretty for a boy” that compelled Tedd to reach out to Henry in desperation after having received a draft notice.
