@nobodyknows2322@DumpTrump_45 Shah was also the establishment pick last time, the only reason he wasn't this time is because he underperformed Harris in the district.
@bigbaby1985@ironmikeluke Fair enough, I haven't lived in AZ since 2010 back when Glassman was losing his first big race. Can't believe he is still humiliating himself 16 years later.
@BalladOfGaetano@tomkXY@rossivision No, because that's how many home games an NFL team gets a season and there are only a few concerts that can fill 70,000+ seats in a given year. MLB has 81 home games and NBA/NHL have 41 each (and often share) so it makes more sense for those stadiums to be in urban areas.
@tomkXY@rossivision Most baseball stadiums in the US are also in downtowns or urban areas. NFL stadiums are unique because they only have 8 home games a year. Poor land use to put in prime areas.
@luke6211@JakeD8023033111@rossivision Tailgating is popular in college football as well even amongst students who live in dorms right next to the stadium.
@PhilbuehlerPhil@GoodmanHoops Sure, but basically 8 low majors and three really good games. Miller isn’t like Lloyd who will schedule 6 or more really good games.
@kodkod87@MattZeitlin@AlecMacGillis The war didn’t start until nearly three weeks after the qualifier and was definitely caused by the expulsion of 100,000 Salvadorans. El Salvador launching a war even though it had won qualification over Honduras makes zero sense.
