@bballbreakdown Looks like her dribble might end when her right foot is down, at least effectively. This need for micro-analysis of exact moments when a gather begins or ends is indicative of a problem with the rule. “I know **** when I see it.”
@theVarnellHill@bballbreakdown Unfortunately it has nothing to do with a pivot foot anymore. Instead of a rule that’s easy to understand, we get this gather-step nonsense.
@bballbreakdown@StepThroughJoe What’s crazy to me is that I can’t find a single video of Kevin McHale doing a step through, despite having an arsenal of moves, including the “almost step through” where he jumps off two feet.
@bballbreakdown We were taught to do this in high school. It’s baffling that people don’t get it. A lot of people just count steps instead of also understanding the pivot foot’s role in the travel rules.
@Brosky2413@bballbreakdown Where do you see three steps? I think this is likely not even a travel in high school. l think it could be argued that he established his right foot as the pivot foot, even in high school rules.
@bballbreakdown That’s not even a travel in high school. People would call that a travel when I did it in pickup games, and we’d have to pause so I could explain the rule.
@GregM78280618@RapidResponse47 They're using trade balance ratios, which are the stupidest thing you could use for this. They are simply trying to trick people.
@galleriagifts@dieworkwear Tariffs on cars was a big factor in why Japanese automakers crushed US automakers. Artificially raising the price of the competition incentivizes US brands to have lower quality. It’s a short-term “fix” that causes a long-term problem.
@NBALPSupport you need to fix the sound syncing in the nba app on AppleTV. If I’m watching on delay, the sound will flip to the current time in the game, spoiling everything. It keeps playing when I leave the game too.
