@EKEDP is currently scamming customers in Surulere. They came and changed out meters without programming the new one. So many “Band A” customers have now been without electricity for over a week and their staff are trying to convince people to connect directly for estimated bill.

#BeAChildsHope initiative is a drive for individuals & organizations donate to help us continue on the good work we’re doing.
At the start of the year, we exchanged wishes for peace, but weapons have continued to kill and destroy. Let us pray that those who wield power over these conflicts may understand: War is in itself a crime against humanity.
At #Christmas, God reveals Himself as the One who humbles Himself, descending to earth small and poor. Therefore, in order to be like Him, we must humble ourselves, serve others, and become small with the little ones and poor with those in need.
Saint Stephen, the first martyr or ‘witness’, was the first among a multitude of brothers and sisters who still today continue to shed light in darkness: people who respond to evil with goodness and break the spiral of hatred with the gentleness of love.
We are close to our brothers and sisters who suffer due to war: let us think of Palestine, Israel, Ukraine. Let us also recall those suffering from poverty, hunger, and slavery. May God, who took on a human heart, make our hearts more humane!
May we not forget people suffering the evils of war. Let us think about children in war and the things they see. May we draw near to the Nativity Scene to ask Jesus for peace. He is the Prince of Peace.
Let us #PrayTogether before the Nativity scene for children who will experience a difficult Christmas in places where there is war, in refugee camps, in situations of profound misery.
Let us not forget our brothers and sisters who are suffering because of war, in Ukraine, in Palestine and Israel, and in other conflict zones. As Christmas approaches, may the dedication to open paths of peace be strengthened.
We are heading toward Christmas: Are we able to take concrete steps of peace? Let every effort be made to address and remove the causes of conflict, to protect civilians, hospitals, places of worship, to free hostages and guarantee human rights.
We have entered #Advent full of hope. We fervently implore the Prince of Peace to bring comfort to our wounded hearts and to nations suffering from wars and crises of every kind, so that all may live a dignified and peaceful life.
Let us choose life! Let us choose the future! May we be attentive to the cry of the earth, may we hear the plea of the poor, may we be sensitive to the hopes of the young and the dreams of children! We have a grave responsibility: to ensure that they not be denied their future.
Let us continue to pray for the serious situation in Israel and Palestine. It is the ordinary people who suffer. Those who wage war do not suffer. Let us ask for peace. And may we not forget the dear Ukrainian people, who are suffering so much and are still at war.
Violence against women is a poisonous weed that plagues our society and must be pulled up from its roots. These roots grow in the soil of prejudice and of injustice; they must be countered with educational action that places the person, with his or her dignity, at the centre.
How many children are deprived of the fundamental right to life and to physical and mental integrity due to conflicts? How many children are forced to take part, directly or indirectly, in fighting, and bear the scars? No war is worth the tears of children.
