@KW35792979@gene79781@fofodubendo@senatorshoshana@colinmort "Yet people still go to doctors, and I am not, like, maybe I’m a dinosaur here, but I really do not want to, like, entrust my medical fate to ChatGPT with no human doctor in the loop.”he said this, also to be clear, being a good diagnostician isn't related to this case at all
@KW35792979@senatorshoshana@colinmort I'm amazed by the number of people who just want to demonize the bot at any chance they can instead of assigning blame to the humans using it incorrectly. Don't blame the tool blame the user.
@BedroomRat@y2kiv 2(3) just means multiply 2 and 3. The paranthesis are done because solving paranthesis just means solving what's inside of them. A single number inside paranthesis is effectively gone
@SchizoGamin6@y2kiv The bracket is resolved. Something being next to it doesn't mean it's magically not resolved. Resolving the brackets mean solving everything INSIDE of them
@BedroomRat@y2kiv If there's only a number left inside the paranthesis it is solved already, now a number next to a single number paranthesis means multiply. But when divide and multiply is remaining you go left to right. So divide first
@heavenly_otter@y2kiv But that convention is outdated and not taught anymore. Use the new and improved standard version that most academics agree on, and you will get 9
@gr1era@y2kiv You absolutely can have brackets next to a number, it means you multiply them, and when you have division and multiplication left you go left to right. So divide first then multiply the remaining number next to the bracket. Very easy 9
