@DanTAntlers@scottcoleman55 I would argue that Evan Gattis couldn’t handle LF and the only reason that they tried was because the DH position wasn’t available to them back then .
@julytabicat@scottcoleman55 I think the money thing is true and that the higher ups have him on an extremely short leash because he threw 10s of millions of dollars away to acquire the fiasco known as Jerred Kelenic.
@ProFootballTalk Playing well enough? I guess he made the starts and didn’t die doing so but I don’t really consider that “playing well enough.”
And that “We need a QB” bs isn’t going to fly anymore. We can go 8-9 with ANY quarterback and that is Kirk’s ceiling.
@DrewPhilli11630@scottcoleman55 Eh, not really. I think that the Mets have seen what they needed to see with Baty, Vientos and Acuna. Maybe they will try to turn one of the 3b to first and send whoever is left back to the minors.
@theirishkarbomb@astros If you can hide him in a good lineup, his glove is worth his terrible bat and you can start him for some short stretches. Unfortunately, the Braves lineup this past season decided to take multiple streaks of dogshit performance and he bore the brunt of it.
