@ChoppinBravos This is why I’ve held off judgment. Injuries are going to happen and some players were bound to adjust back to the mean. As we knew, better additions in the offseason could’ve helped alleviate some of the lows.

@ChoppinBravos I used to be a huge believer in him, but it seems like a lifetime ago when he actually looked like an All-Star while healthy. It’s not some slump, he’s got career defining issues at the plate that must be figured out if he is to be of any value to the team.

@lmm2996 @AlextheAdm1ral It’s the main reason the racing has gotten so bad. Less time off the accelerator/on the brake, the less input a driver has over the car. Can’t out brake, out corner, or out accelerate somebody when you never brake or accelerate in the turns in the first place.

@48bowmanfan The real problem is racing a car that is so sensitive to aero changes that side drafting can sometimes put the inside car on ice. It doesn’t just have a slight push or is a little loose, it loses all grip in the blink of an eye.

@AlextheAdm1ral Exactly. Stages help mask how bad the races actually are. In NASCAR’s prime, stages nor double file restarts were needed. The racing was top tier. The cars allowed drivers to drive to their own liking, and it was a thing of beauty most weekends.
