'IBA RIN ANG SPECIAL TREATMENT'

Labor leader Ka Leody de Guzman took a swipe at the Local Government of Manila after the Manila Department of Social Welfare offered hot meals and on-ground assistance at Liwasang Bonifacio, where members of the Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) are holding a rally on Thursday.

“Sa limang dekada kong pakikibaka, di ko pa naranasan na may magpalugaw na mayor. Iba rin ang special treatment,” he said, noting the unusual level of support extended at the site.

The Manila local government earlier deployed food assistance, sanitation teams, and emergency response units through its social welfare, environment, and disaster risk reduction offices to ensure order and address the needs of those attending the gathering. (Facebook/Ka Leody De Guzman)
