The cockroach protest has been successful and peaceful. The youth got to vent and police didn't have to exercise force.

Decent numbers of young, old, and older folks. 90% of them were clueless and curious. 10% were sharp and eloquent. So, quite representative of society.

Various student outfits sent fellow travellers to Jantar Mantar. Some known political fronts registered their presence. Also, there were some protest tourists.

Many opposed the government itself, but most had Dharmendra Pradhan as their target.

What if Pradhan resigned in protest against the protest making him the only target? Will the movement end? The government will naturally fear that that would be seen as surrender and cockroaches will taste blood.

One good outcome expected is a cleanup of the examination system, which has been repeatedly ignored for years. While Pradhan being replaced by some other person is not a solution, the protest has brought the spotlight to a problem that was talked about incident by incident.

नोएडा की Lotus Zing सोसाइटी में पिछले 3 दिनों से पानी का गंभीर संकट है। हालात इतने खराब हैं कि पिछले 24 घंटे से पूरी तरह जलापूर्ति ठप है। हजारों निवासी पीने के पानी तक के लिए परेशान हैं।

सबसे हैरानी की बात यह है कि आखिर समस्या क्या है, इसकी कोई आधिकारिक जानकारी नहीं दी जा रही। न कोई अपडेट, न कोई समयसीमा, न कोई जवाबदेही। क्या नोएडा जैसे आधुनिक शहर में लोगों को पानी जैसी बुनियादी सुविधा के लिए भी भटकना पड़ेगा?

कृपया तत्काल हस्तक्षेप कर जलापूर्ति बहाल कराएं और निवासियों को स्थिति की स्पष्ट जानकारी दें।

सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने कहा दिल्ली NCR में डीजल कार नहीं चलने देंगे। तो पेट्रोल कार खरीद लो। पेट्रोल मंत्री ने पेट्रोल का अधिकार सड़क मंत्री को दे दिया है जो असल में गन्ना मंत्री है। दोनों ने कहा शुद्ध पेट्रोल नहीं देंगे। 20% मिलावट वाला ही देंगे। तो E20 पेट्रोल कार खरीद ली। मिलावट इतनी है कि अब फ्यूल पंप का इश्यू हो गया। सब कह रहे हैं नई इलेक्ट्रिक कार ले लो। हाउसिंग सोसाइटी ने कहा चार्जिंग सिस्टम नहीं लगेगा, उससे आग लग जाती है। कह रहे हैं कहीं और नया घर ले लो। इधर पेट्रोल वाली गाड़ी कहीं भी खड़ी हो जा रही। फिर टो कर के सर्विस सेंटर में खड़ी रह रही। पेट्रोल की बचत हो रही है। मोदीजी आह्वान करते उसके पहले ही गडकरी जी ने इंतजाम कर दिया। ऐसी दूरदर्शिता से ही देश चलेगा। दादा कोंडके कहे रहे आगे की सोच। काहे की तुम्हारे पीछे क्या हो रहा है देख लोगे तो तन बदन में आग लग जाएगी। सदन में ठण्डक बनी रहेगी। वहां तुम्हारे चुने गए चन्द्रवदन कोई क्रंदन नहीं करेंगे। क्रंदन तुम्हारे माथे पर लिखा है जिसे वो पढ़ चुका है। तीन आखर का ही है वो भी। तुमको नहीं अखरेगा। तुम यूज़्ड टू हो। जो लिखा गया है नहीं बदलेगा। तुम्हारा भाग्य, बाबासाहब का संविधान, और सरकार की नीतियां। सरकारें आएंगी, जाएंगी, पार्टियां बनेंगी, बिगड़ेंगी मगर ये देश रहना चाहिए। गाड़ियां आएंगी, जाएंगी, पॉलिसियां बनेंगी, बिगड़ेंगी मगर इथेनॉल रहना चाहिए। काहे कि एक बार हमने कमिटमेंट कर दी तो अपने आप की भी नहीं सुनते। जनता का फीडबैक घंटा सुनेंगे, मीटिंग की मिनिट्स लेंगे और एक सेकंड में एंटी नेशनल कह कर खारिज़ कर देंगे। सब सहन करो। अपने कर्मों का फल वहन करो। वाहन तुम्हारा गारत, बोलो जय भारत। देश के लिए इतना नहीं कर सकते। तुम पर लाख लानत।

Bought a 65-inch Motorola TV from Flipkart in Dec’25. Within a month, a black line appeared. Complaint raised on Jan 17.

After multiple delays, technician confirmed replacement, promised by Feb 26. Since then, I’m only getting “48 hours wait” replies with no resolution.

No technician response, no escalation, no accountability. This is harassment.

Indian Express has a film weekly called ‘Screen’ since 60 plus years. They have also instituted ‘Screen’ awards like Filmfare awards.
2025 screen awards function was yesterday. It gave 14 awards to Dhurandhar which included best director, best actor etc. ( best film went to Homebound which no body has seen).
However, Indian Express had lambasted both the Dhurandhar films and gave 2.5 stars to part one, 1 star to part two.
Today’s Indian Express has published big picture of the award function on the first page. Nobody is seen from the Dhurandhar team on the stage in the photo.

Why?

Not a single person from the team attended the function.
Total boycott.
Congratulations to them.
I hope they don’t go for any awards ceremony except for the National Awards.

The function was attended by CM Fadnavis, Neeta Ambani and other bigwigs. Boycott from Dhurandhar team is a big slap on the eco system of mainstream media and kick in the ass of the Lyari gang of Bollywood.
