Yes, you read that correctly.

More than 5,000 little penguins in Victoria, Australia, are reportedly about to become part of what officials describe as the largest wildlife vaccination project ever undertaken.

And there's one detail that should immediately make people stop and ask questions:

The report says there have been NO reported cases of bird flu among the penguins.

Yet thousands are to be captured and handled.

Each bird will require TWO vaccine doses within two weeks.

And they will also be MICROCHIPPED so authorities can monitor them.

Even Victoria's Chief Veterinary Officer acknowledges that handling wildlife carries risks and that vaccination is “not a silver bullet.”

So surely questions are legitimate.

What evidence demonstrates that the benefits of intervening in a healthy wild colony outweigh the risks of capturing, injecting, microchipping and then recapturing thousands of animals?

What safety data exists specifically for these penguins?

And what happens if the intervention itself causes unintended harm?

Craig Kelly has gone much further, describing the program as “vaccine fanaticism on steroids.”

When 5,000 apparently uninfected wild animals are about to undergo an unprecedented vaccination operation, scrutiny isn't unreasonable.

🚨I HAVE NO WORDS…

Florida police have just found FOUR CHILDREN who were CAGED IN THE CAB of a semi-truck… FOR SIX YEARS.

They were confined so long THEY FORGOT HOW TO WALK normally, police say the man who kept them there se*ually abused them... then punched them in the head.

This is Jacksonville, Florida.

Police say since December 2019, four kids lived crammed in the cab of a semitruck driven by their own mother, Keisha Epps, and her fiancé, Tamra Stewart.

Per the arrest report, those children were "rarely allowed out of the cab, even if they needed to use the restroom."

They were "fed poorly, did not attend school, did not receive medical care."

When a detective finally found them, the report says the kids were walking with an "unnatural gait" from years of being confined in that cab.

Their little bodies were physically deformed by being caged like animals.

And the abuse is almost too much to put into words.

The report says these children witnessed se*ual abuse by Stewart. When they confronted him about it, police say he "beat them by punching their heads."

He's now charged with capital se*ual battery, the most serious s*x crime in the state of Florida.

And the mother? Police say the kids told her about the abuse. She didn't believe them. She kept leaving them alone with him. She called them names and blamed them for what he was doing to them.

The one person on this earth who was supposed to protect them handed them to a predator and looked away.

Those kids are finally out. Finally safe. Now they need every ounce of justice this country can give them.

Lock both of these monsters away and NEVER let them out.

Please say a prayer for those four children tonight... this is one of the worst stories I've ever heard.

Violent crime OUT OF CONTROL in Flint, Michigan

A woman's house was just shot up with more than 50 bullets from a drive-by shooting. The police never showed up despite being called MULTIPLE times.

When the woman called the mayor's office for help, they responded saying, "Ain't nothing the mayor can do about it. He's not God."

This is the same city where days earlier, two teens were gunned down during a teen takeover.

People are being terrorized with nonstop violence, and the police are nowhere to be found.

He was renting a room to a woman and her 15-year-old daughter. Police say he started abusing the girl in December, threatened her family, and offered her money to stay quiet.

Here is the Amazon link to the book I recently finished about my dog Lucy — from our meeting in war a decade ago to the recent #SaveLucy battle that so many of you walked through with me.

During those long days and longer nights while Lucy was locked up, I wrote constantly. I shared only a fraction of what I wrote. Mostly, I worked on this book.

It was basically complete (in draft form) by the time Lucy came home. I still had to write an ending, but I didn't know how it would turn out yet. I had to live that part before I could write it.

This is a raw story. I wrote it in the heat of battle, and it shows.

A story like this requires some sensitivity. The war chapters had to be written in accordance with continuing classification requirements. The conflict with neighbors, and to a certain extent, the later legal drama, had to be reimagined to protect privacy.

As a result, I have written this as a work of fiction based on real events. Some characters are composites. Some place names have been changed. Every word, however, is true in spirit.

I read the story to @Herb_Minstrel on the long drive to Tucson for the #SaveSnuggles rally. She gave me constructive criticism at times. At other times, she gave me nothing but silence. When I looked at her for feedback, she would say, "I don't know what you want me to say." That was all I needed to hear. I went back to the drawing board.

Whether she guided me through words or through silence, it was almost always spot on. Thank you, Dolly.

I wrote the final chapter sitting on the bed in our Airbnb in Tucson. Those of you who followed my family's journey from Virginia to Arizona will notice that I took some license there. I did that for narrative purposes. This book was never meant to be a purely documentary retelling. It was meant to capture something about what Lucy means to my family and me.

I think I got the ending the way it was always supposed to be written.

It would have ended much differently if it wasn't for so many of you - more of you than I could ever hope to mention here. Some of you may notice little Easter eggs that I included in the text, slight nods of thanks that you may recognize on the pages. I tried to include at least a handful, if I could fit them in seamlessly as the story came together.
