Entering people’s lives, hearing stories, offering accompaniment is my work. Creating meals, travel, biking, relationships, reading, Apple TV is how I regroup!
Hey Alberta. Expect approval soon on our petition to stop coal mining in our Rockies, source of our drinking water. We're gonna need TONS of canvassers. Go to https://t.co/hasys8CBUW give us your email and tell 50 friends. When approved we'll give you info on how to help. Pls RT.
I’m excited to kick off 2025 with some personal news. Alberta’s New Democrats are on the move.
Last year we became one of the largest provincial political parties in Canada and I became leader! And we didn’t stop there.
Since then, folks from all corners of this province have been reaching out with their support and advice. I’ve gotten to know and work with a fantastic caucus of New Democrat MLAs. I’ve spent the last six months with the team listening to Albertans about their worries, their priorities, and their hopes.
As you know, with our former leader Rachel Notley’s retirement, I have an opportunity to join our MLAs in the Legislature. I believe Alberta New Democrats can be a thoughtful government-in-waiting with real solutions for Alberta families.
That’s why I’m officially announcing today that I’m putting my name forward for nomination as the Alberta NDP candidate in Edmonton-Strathcona for an upcoming by-election.
This doesn’t mean I’m leaving Calgary behind! While still proudly Calgarian, I’m already dividing my time between the two cities and I’m looking forward to learning more about Edmonton.
This nomination means that I’ll be in the Legislature to go head-to-head with Danielle Smith soon.
If you’re an Alberta New Democrat member in Edmonton-Strathcona - I hope you’ll join us at our nomination meeting January 22.

@marcdez55 I don't agree with everything the Trudeau government has done, but some of the things you mentioned were just silly. By that I mean, I agree with you...who cares what his socks and hair are like. I'd rather look at policies. And politicians' families are out of bounds.
💔😭stolen 1.5 months after we got it. it's the only way i've been able to truck my kids around these past few weeks (while super pregnant). I'm so sad...

After totally missing the light of a beautiful Thursday due to work, treated myself Friday morning with some quiet moments! #Calgary#meditationpractice #grateful https://t.co/LW1YQfUX9q
@BikeBikeYYC Was on very crowded pathways this weekend. Pathletes, yes, but anyone who shares a pathway needs to be aware and respectful or go elsewhere. It isn’t the fault of one group but the individual awareness.
