@itsynnndrs idk. this is cute and all, but it ignores the actual effects of abuse. people don't come out of abusive situations loving themselves more. we come out broken, lacking self-esteem, and quite literally brain damaged. glorifying abuse as "beautiful" or "transformative" is wrong, imo
how to survive in this world and avoid disillusionment as a cancer mars : romanticize your life!!! everything you do is art. your life is a coming of age movie.
@MarkLashley14 @minusplnp i respectfully disagree. a lot of hate speech thrives on controversy and marginalization reinforced by social media "discussions." most of these people aren't rational.
"why do i always choose the wrong people?" "why can't i ever see the red flags"
i want you to know that abusers choose their victims. i want you to know it's not your fault. the mistreatment you've endured is not, and will never be, a reflection of you.
