Now they want a house in Lahore - Rs. 4 to 5 Crore.
That means a massive 15-20 year loan.
They can afford the EMI.
But can they afford to lose their financial freedom?

Travel, kids' future, emergency fund, investments - everything will become just EMI.
As Khalu said: "Ghar zindagi behtar banane ke liye hota hai, poori zindagi kha jane ke liye nahi."

They decided to keep renting + investing, and will buy only when they are genuinely ready, not on society pressure.
