@Getaround I've had two claims open for nearly two months. Following up dozens of times yields little to close these out. Your CEO tried getting someone to help me, who tried once and never replied again. Is legal action the only thing that will get you to honor your terms?
@Getaround how can you find it acceptable to deny a rental damage claim when you've not requested or received any measurements, yet you point to that as the reason for denial, and you refer to reasons that are not in your Terms of Service?
@Getaround@Getaround waiting for a response on 8175564. Getaround continues to ask for photos of the damage area cleaned even though I've submitted this multiple times for months now. Can you understand why I'm fed up from working with Getaround?
@Getaround@Getaround fun update today for 8175564: Getaround has denied the claim because I didn't send in photos. Problem is, I sent in photos multiple times over the last two months. Good stuff, huh?
Looking forward to hearing back from someone again on this, once reopened.
@Getaround Hosts beware: even if damage is black and white within @Getaround defined terms of coverage, they may refuse to talk or provide any coherent explanation as to why they deny a claim. Their final answer will be take it through their arbitration process, which I plan to do. Terrible
@Getaround@Getaround I guess now you get to choose when you'll honor your standard terms for claim coverage based on whether hosts will let you force them to pay without your official claim estimate and payout?
Eduardo, we need to speak.
